It’s an extra long weekend for most Knoxville city and Marion County workers due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Marion County Courthouse will be closed Thursday and Friday. Knoxville City Hall will also be closed Thursday and Friday as well as the Knoxville Public Library.

The Knoxville Recreation Center will be closed Thursday, but is hosting the 24th Annual Dettman 5K Turkey Trot that morning with registration begins 8am and the race to follow. The Rec Center will reopen Friday morning at 5am.
