Lots of holiday events are coming up at the Knoxville Public Library.

Director Roslin Thompson says it’ll all start this Saturday with the Holiday Tree of Books. She says the annual event decorates a Christmas tree with little books and allows visitors to pick a book that they’d like to donate in memory of a loved one. The Holiday Tree of Books will be on display throughout the month of December.

There’s also the Sugar Plum Fairy Ball on Saturday, Dec. 13th, which is a father-daughter dance with proceeds going to the library expansion project, and Thompson says they’re planning a night time Storytime event on Tuesday, Dec. 23rd at 6:30pm.
