It’s something the Central women’s basketball team hasn’t had to do this season. They’ll try to come back from a loss and find the win column again tonight on the road against a struggling Crown College squad up in Minnesota. To be fair, the Dutch really didn’t get beat by Nebraska Wesleyan, as they were without a good chunk of their starters and bench players due to various injuries and illnesses. Crown has had their own problems this year, many of them on the offensive side of the ball. They have only cracked 50 points one time, averaging 38.5 per game in six lopsided losses, while allowing almost 72 to their opponents. Crown is also turning the ball over twice as many times as their competition this season, with an average of just under 23 giveaways per game. Tonight’s game up in St. Bonifacius will tip-off at seven.
