Enrollment is up for the Knoxville Community School District.
That was the word given by Superintendent Cassie Murra during the Knoxville School Board meeting Monday. She said during a certified enrollment review that the district was up by more than 10 students and that total could reach as much as 21 weighted students overall, a huge jump which will help with funding.
The district’s finances are also doing well overall, according to a financial review brought before the board.
A Section 504 Reference Guide regarding students with disabilities, the creation of a local Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter, and a fundraiser for the Knoxville High School Choir were also approved by the board during the meeting.
