For the second year in a row, the KNIA/KRLS Marion County Food Drive received a large donation from an anonymous donor.
A person has bought $1,000 worth of food drive bags at the Knoxville HyVee. Store Director Dorrie Decker says the person wanted to make sure their donation made a difference. She adds it’s great to see someone make such a significant donation that benefits the community.
There are still plenty of chances to donate to the 13th Annual KNIA/KRLS Marion County Food Drive. Today will offer chances to donate in Bussey from 10am to noon, at the Knoxville HyVee from 10am to 2pm, and in Pleasantville at the Masonic Lodge for their Soup with Santa/Festival of Trees event from 11am until 2pm. The Big Red Radio and the Lil’ Big Red Radio will be on hand during these events.
The 13th Annual KNIA/KRLS Marion County Food Drive – Help us fill the Big Red Radio with food and together we’ll fill the food shelves of Marion County.
