The Optimists Club has set up their annual Angel Giving Tree at the Coffee Connection in Knoxville.

The tree holds stockings with what gifts area families would like for Christmas. People are encouraged to pick up a stocking, purchase the gift, and bring that gift back to the Giving Tree.

The families on the Angel Giving Tree will also receive food, some of which will come from this year’s KNIA/KRLS Marion County Food Drive.

The deadline to submit a present for the Angel Giving Tree is Friday. The gifts will be distributed to the families during the week of Christmas.
