The Pella Community School Board received more construction updates at their final meeting of the year this week.

Superintendent Greg Ebeling says the Pella Middle School project continues to exceed previous expectations, and says kids will be in more of the new classrooms in January, and completely moved into the rest of the renovated areas by February. He says people who drive by Lincoln will see some walls coming up at the construction site as early as next month. Ebeling adds crews are working to enclose the Career Academy to ramp up indoor construction, which is set to be open for use in Summer 2015.
