Many people like to ride snowmobiles and ATV’s during the winter.

Marion County Recorder Karen Schwanebeck tells you what you need to know about getting a snowmobile license. She says riders ages 12 to 17 are required to take a snowmobile education course. Riders under 12 must be under the supervision of an adult and anyone who has a revoked driver’s license is not permitted to drive a snowmobile or ATV on public property.

Schwanebeck also wants to remind snowmobile and ATV owners that annual vehicle registrations are due before December 31st.
