The latest data from Iowa Workforce Development shows another drop in the unemployment rate in Marion County.

The number fell to 3.3 percent in November, down from 3.6 percent in October. That trend follows the state line as well, with Iowa’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate dropping to 4.3 percent in November from 4.5 percent in October. The state’s jobless rate was 4.2 percent one year ago. The U.S. unemployment rate held steady at 5.8 percent.
