PCM’s girls’ basketball team stumbled just a bit out of the gates in their 2014-15 season. The Mustangs got out to a 3 – 2 start with losses to Knoxville and Pella Christian, and struggled with taking care of the ball and with free throws. However, PCM has responded with four straight wins, including a toppling of ranked Saydel before the winter intermission. Coach Bret Grier says he feels his team still has not realized what their true potential is. PCM has a chance to really get on a roll and stay perfect in the Heart of Iowa Conference if they can take care of a very talented Nevada squad in exactly one week.
