The Pella Community School District has seen a lot of changes and successes in 2014.

Superintendent Greg Ebeling says that two construction projects at the future Career Academy and Lincoln Elementary are off to a solid start after they broke ground this year. He says it was also a banner year for student achievement in fine arts and athletics programs, with a state football championship and awards and honors in band, writing, and yearbook, among others.
