The Knoxville Education Foundation is asking for pledges for a pair of fundraising programs they’re holding this winter in conjunction with Knoxville High School athletics.
The foundation’s “Shooting for the Future” program raises money for every three-point basket made by both the varsity girls’ and boys’ basketball teams while their “Pins for Education” earns money for every pin by the Knoxville varsity wrestling team during the 2014-2015 season.
The Knoxville Education Foundation is an independent organization started nearly 20 years ago with the objective of building a fund that will generate a continuing source of money for scholarships or special projects within the school district.
