The Pella City Council will look to approve the deposit of State Revolving Fund loans and the construction contract for the first phase of the city’s long term water improvement plan at their first meeting of 2015.
The council will consider a series of resolutions involving the approval of more than $15 million in financing with the Iowa Finance Authority and the official contract with C.L. Carroll for the construction of a $2.3 million Jordan Well. They will also look to approve an amendment to the engineering contract with H.R. Green, Incorporated, for the other components of the city’s plan, including a reverse osmosis treatment system. The Pella City Council meets Tuesday at 7 p.m. inside the Public Safety Complex on Liberty Street.
