It was a busy 2014 for the Knoxville City Fire Department.

Fire Chief Jim Mitchell says while there were several calls for fires, much of their time was spent dealing with EMS calls. But there were also several non-mission-related events that took place for the Knoxville City Fire Department in 2014, such as fundraisers for the department and others in the community, along with another successful Fire Prevention Week in October.
