After two snow systems made their way through Marion County in the past three days, the weather focus shifts over to a dangerous cold spell.
According to preliminary totals from the National Weather Service, five and a half inches of snow was measured by law enforcement and at our KNIA/KRLS studios in Knoxville and 5.2 inches was the tally in Pella, with amounts exceeding six inches just to the north in Jasper County.
A Wind Chill Warning is in effect on Wednesday until noon. Wind chills will range from 15 below zero during the day today to as cold as 35 below on Wednesday.
