State Representative Guy Vander Linden says he’s opposed to raising the state’s gas tax to make up for the Iowa DOT’s budget shortfall unless they cut taxes or spending elsewhere. Vander Linden says the Governor will be meeting with top legislators from both parties on Wednesday ahead of Monday’s first day of work in the State Legislature to discuss the options for improving the state’s roads and bridges.
