There are still opportunities to safely dispose of Christmas trees in the county.
A drop-off site has been set up at Marion County Park. It will be located at the entrance of the park and is available until Thursday, January 15th. In Pella, Public Works will hold a pair of pickups on Wednesday, January 14th and 21st. Trees must be placed at the curb by 7:00 am on the specific pick up day. Trees should be free of decorations, tree stands, metal fasteners, tinsel, and should not be in plastic bags.
