Parker, Troy D
A multitude of charges have been filed against a Bussey man after he attempted to run from law enforcement during a traffic stop Sunday.

A Marion County Sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop 47-year-old Troy D. Parker along Highway T-23 after being informed his Iowa driver’s license was barred.
Parker then attempted to flee from police, passing through Monroe County and reaching speeds of up to 75 mph. He then drove through several fields before exiting the vehicle and trying to get away on foot. Parker was arrested after the deputy tracked his footprints in the snow for about a mile and found him hiding behind a tree.
Parker is charged with Eluding, Driving while Barred, Reckless Driving, and having an open container, among several other traffic infractions. He’s scheduled to appear in Marion County District Court on Tuesday, January 20th.
