Save for a make-up date with Nevada next week, PCM’s basketball teams wrap-up their first time through the Heart of Iowa Conference this evening with a date at Greene County. The Mustangs’ girls are hoping for better things after dropping a tough one to Gilbert on Friday. The Rams’ ladies have lost five straight, and are led by Kayla Mobley, who is scoring over 16 points per game this season and shooting almost 50% from the field. Trey Lindsay’s buzzer-beating three to win the game is a mound of momentum for the PCM boys as they head into today’s meet-up with the Rams. Greene County is 4 – 5 overall, and the Mustangs will need to deal with Conner Conrad and Dakota Jaeschke, who combine for 34 of the Rams’ 58 points-per-game average. Today’s girls’ part of the doubleheader is scheduled to tip-off at 6:00 p.m.
