The Marion County Secondary Roads Department is letting area drivers know they need to take their time and be on the lookout for county snow plows, no matter what the conditions.
The reminder comes after a county plow was struck by vehicle last week in an area subdivision.
Marion County Engineer Tyler Christian says plows and road graders travel at a much slower pace, even on days when roads are fairly clear.
Christian urges motorists to slow down, eliminate distractions, and drive tentatively for the weather conditions when the plows are out.
