District 79 Representative Guy Vander Linden says the real work in the Iowa House begins this week.
He says many of the committees will focus on the budget, with work beginning on infrastructure and education spending.
“It will be all about the money and all of the policy committees will be meeting to talk about those kinds of things,” he says. “The real work starts this week and beyond.”
Vander Linden says he will serve as chair of the State Government committee, and serve on the Commerce and Ways and Means committees in the upcoming session.
