Knoxville High School continues to prepare for their annual Coaches vs Cancer event.

Organizer and girls’ varsity basketball coach Jim Uitermarkt says support for the event continues to grow. He says they’ve had their best year ever for t-shirt sales and items for the silent auction continue to pour in.
The Knoxville Coaches vs Cancer event has been the best in the nation the past two years and they are expecting to exceed last year’s record total of nearly $59,000.
The Big Red Radio will be broadcasting from Knoxville High School Saturday as they unveil this year’s grand total between the girls’ and boys’ basketball games against Chariton.
