Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars had rough goes of it in their second games of the girls’ Bluegrass Conference basketball tournament on Monday. The Saints fell, 57 – 30, to Moravia. Kaylee Houston had ten points to lead her team. Melcher will next play next on Thursday in a consolation match. Twin Cedars fell to Mormon Trail, 39 – 36. Liz Rowley led Saber scorers with 17 points. Tonight, it’s the boys’ turn; the Sabers play Grand View Christian.
