About 40 to 50 vehicles were ticketed in Knoxville this weekend due to violations of the city’s snow ordinance.
Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada says no vehicles are permitted on city streets when a snow ordinance is in effect.
Community Services Officer Arlene Worrell says they’ll be checking today to make sure sidewalks have been shoveled. Citizens have 24 hours after the snow ends to clear their sidewalks in front of their homes.
The Pella Police Department reports they issued 50 tickets for snow ordinance violations.
