A Knoxville man has been charged with felony theft for stealing $1200 worth of guns from his father.
25-year-old Casey Van Donsler is accused of 2nd degree theft, a Class D felony.
According to court documents, the victim returned home from vacation on Sunday and discovered several firearms were missing from the residence. The victim told officers he believed Van Donsler had taken the weapons and was attempting to sell them.
Knoxville Police were able to recover three of the missing guns from a pair of individuals who said Van Donsler had sold them the weapons.
Van Donsler scheduled to be in Marion County District Court Tuesday.
