Knoxville High School is inducting several new members to their Athletic Hall of Fame today.

Bill Liike was state champion in the pole vault during the 1950 Indoor Iowa State Meet. JoAnn Long was an All-Star basketball player in 1950. Stacey Avitt was named first team, All-State in Volleyball in 1993. And the 1991 4 x 100m Relay Team, consisting of Bryan Avitt, Joe Cunningham, Glen Huyck, and Scott Van Wyngarden, took gold at the 1991 State Track Meet.
The inductees will be honored between the girls’ and boys’ basketball games against Pella Christian.
