Dozens of local business and industry leaders had a chance to interact with members of the state government.
The Pella Area Development Corporation and Pella Chamber of Commerce held their annual Legislative Business Forum at Vermeer on Friday. PADCO board member Dell Collins tells KNIA/KRLS news the purpose was to allow local business community members a chance to directly interact with elected officials about issues that are important to the local business climate. State Senators Ken Rozenboom and Amy Sinclair and Representative Greg Heartsill responded to questions about infrastructure spending, minimum wage, education, and energy costs. We’ll have more about the topics discussed on Monday’s Let’s Talk Pella with Senator Rozenboom.
