Melissa Molloy, a graduating senior at Knoxville Senior High School has been named one of more than 3,900 candidates in the 2015 United States Presidential Scholars Program.
The candidates were selected from nearly 3.4 million students expected to graduate from U.S. high schools in the year 2015. Melissa was one of 53 Iowa candidates named for this award.
Melissa is also a Commended student. She earned PSAT scores that placed her in the top 3% of the nations students who took the PSAT their junior year. The top 1.5% are awarded National Merit Scholarships.
