Several hundred people were without power late Thursday evening in the Bussey, Marysville, and Hamilton area after a vehicle left the roadway on Highway 5 just south of the intersection of T-17 and hit a power pole.
The vehicle was driven by 52 year old Bryan Kreimeyer of rural Knoxville. The accident occurred shortly after 10PM, and Kreimeyer was transported from the scene by Bussey Rescue to Knoxville Hospital and Clinics. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa State Patrol are investigating the accident, and charges are pending.
