Hard to believe it’s that time of the year, but today, Pleasantville and PCM’s wrestlers take to the mat at separate locations for their sectional wrestling meets. The top two grapplers in each weight class and the top two teams overall at each site advance to the district meet next Saturday to qualify for state at Wells Fargo Arena. The Trojans are wrestling at Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont in Class 1A Sectional 8, along with Sigourney-Keota, North Mahaska, Moravia, Cardinal of Eldon, Tri-County, and Van Buren. PCM has a difficult road in 2A, taking on Knoxville, Albia, Chariton, Davis County, and host Centerville. All sectionals are scheduled to get going today at noon.
