State Senator Ken Rozenboom expects action this week in the Iowa House and Senate on one of the biggest budget issues the legislature faces this session.
Infrastructure spending is likely to be addressed with a bipartisan solution, according to Rozenboom. While he’s still unsure of what the final bill will look like, he says it’s a temporary fix and that the system as a whole will likely need more attention in the coming years. Rozenboom says he’s working on his own bill to address some of the long-term issues, which he plans to submit in next year’s session.
