A Pella Man arrested and charged for a drug-related felony and subsequently violating his parole has received his sentence.
Jason Throckmorton faces two years of probation and a five year suspended prison sentence after pleading guilty on Tuesday to possession of a schedule II controlled substance, 3rd offense. The 41-year-old was arrested at his Pella apartment in November on a warrant from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, as police say he was possessing approximately 1.7 grams of methamphetamine and related drug paraphernalia. He was brought back into custody without bond two weeks later for violating his parole.
