Students at Pella High School have been able to experiment with new technology.
The agriculture and industrial tech departments recently purchased four large drones and twelve small ones with the Carl Perkins grant. They are used to educate students about the uses of drones in agriculture. Sophomores Chandler Jahner and Kent Beyer are both drone pilots and FFA officers, and say the new technology is the way of the future in agriculture. Students will provide a demonstration at the excellence in electives night at Pella High School on Monday from 4:30 to 8 p.m.
