A man arrested in January 2014 for a string of thefts of car parts has been sentenced.
Thirty-one year old Joel Allen Followill of Knoxville received a 12 year suspended prison sentence and probation on Friday. He entered a guilty plea at Marion County District Court in December. He was arrested by Pella Police following a lengthy investigation with assistance from Knoxville Police and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. Followill was charged with commission of specified unlawful activity, a class B Felony; two counts of Theft in the Second Degree, Class D Felonies; and Burglary in the Third Degree, a Class D Felony for his part in the theft of radiators and catalytic converters.
