One local corporate executive has accepted an invitation to join a statewide business group.
Mary Vermeer Andringa, CEO and Chair of the Board for Vermeer Corporation will join the Iowa Business Council. Ben McLean, President and CEO of Ruan Transportation Management Systems in Des Moines, will join Andringa.
Council membership in the non-profit organization consists of the top executives of the state’s largest employers, three Regent universities, and the Iowa Bankers Association.
