One local police lieutenant recently completed advanced training.
Lt. Paul Hasse with the Pella Police department graduated from the School of Police Staff and Command at Northwestern University, and completed their ten week program last fall. He says the program focused on numerous topics, with leadership as one of the primary focuses. Haase says it was also a chance to engage with officers from many different departments. Lieutenant Haase was awarded a total of 6 units of undergraduate credit from Northwestern.
