The Pella Community School Board heard construction updates for most of the district’s facilities at their meeting this week.
Superintendent Greg Ebeling says the Middle School project is mostly completed, with most of the furniture arriving at the building. He says new builds at Lincoln and the Career Academy remain on schedule. Ebeling adds that plans for the high school will tie closely to progress at the Career Academy, because they will have to implement a phasing plan next fall to move students from areas affected by renovations. The board also reviewed plans for a potential team room facility for athletics teams to use, a project that would be tied to fundraising from the Pella Athletic Boosters.
