Congressman Dave Loebsack announced he will be visiting Knoxville, Friday to meet with local elected and economic development officials and discuss efforts to expand access to broadband internet in rural areas.

Loebsack was recently named to the Communications and Technology Subcommittee of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which has jurisdiction over broadband issues.
Loebsack is scheduled to be at Knoxville City Hall at 2:30pm
