Four members of the Knoxville Dance Team were selected as part of the All-Iowa Honor Dance Team.

Seniors Kalie Kirkwood and Mikayla Becker along with sophomores Vickie Adrian and Delaney McRoberts will be among more than 200 dancers performing during the Girls’ State Basketball Tournament.
Among the performances is a pregame Military Salute, choreographed by Pleasantville’s Lois Turnage. It’s the 33rd time the All-Iowa Honor Dance Team will appear at the Girls’ State Basketball Tournament.
Over 550 dancers auditioned at Ames High School last fall for a prestigious position in this year’s group. 100 high school dance teams are represented in this year’s All-Iowa Honor Dance Team. All schools are members of the Iowa State Dance Team Association.
Fifty dancers will perform a Military Salute for the pregame show, choreographed by Lois Turnage of Pleasantville followed by the National Anthem sung by the Hope Gospel Quintet.
The halftime show is a medley of Conga songs performed by 224 dancers. Choreographers are Jackie Aguiniga, Betty Baker, Andrea Dana, Stacie Horton, and Jackie Morse. The Director of the All-Iowa Honor Dance Team is Kathy Enyart.
