In a special offsite session, the Iowa Supreme Court will hear the case between the City of Pella and the families of two boys who drowned at the Pella Aquatic Center in 2010.
Oral arguments begin at 7 p.m. in the Creston High School gym on Monday. According to briefs filed by attorneys, the key argument revolves around the city’s liability and whether or not alleged negligence by city employees constitutes a criminal offense under Iowa law.
