The second edition of the Spring 2015 flood outlook has been released.
According to the National Weather Service, the risk of flooding from late winter into the spring is near normal statewide. Hydrologist Jeff Zogg says the risk for significant flooding is lower than this time last year despite comparable conditions. He says above normal soil moisture exists at most locations, but the overall risk remains lower due to below average snowpack and normal flow in rivers and streams.
