Felony charges have been filed against a Knoxville woman who’s accused of attacking her domestic partner with an ax handle.

42-year-old Dianna Dalene Polson has been charged with Going Armed with Intent, a Class D felony, Domestic Abuse – Assault, and Possession of Methamphetamines.
According to court documents, Polson struck the victim in the back with a wooden ax handle on March 7th when he came to her house on 118th Avenue to get his property. The victim was leaving Polson and she wanted to confront him.
Police also found a bag in Polson’s purse that tested positive for meth.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for today.
