The Pella Community School District released the results of their needs assessment.
The survey is conducted every five years by every public school system in the state. Some of the trends identified by respondents include Pella’s reputation of excellence and a high level of student safety. Many felt that students need a greater development of speaking and listening skills and increased global awareness. A total of 823 people, including students, parents, and others from the community, participated in the survey earlier this winter.
