According to the National Weather Service, high temperatures broke a record in Marion County on Monday.
A high of 84 degrees recorded in both Knoxville and Pella broke the previous record for March 16th of 79 set back in 2012. Temperatures near the seasonal normal are expected for the rest of the week, with highs in the 50s and dry conditions persisting. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for the latest forecast information.
