A lot can be said about the momentum of the PCM wrestling team, and what Tristan Clark’s runner-up finish at the Class 2A state meet in Des Moines did for the program. Unfortunately for the Mustangs and Coach Cory Waddell, they lose Clark and a lot of experience from a strong senior class. All is not lost, says Waddell, as the future on the mats still looks bright for PCM. Waddell adds that the guys coming back and coming into the program next season will hopefully get some work in over the summer with tournaments and other sports they may play, and says he’s looking forward to the growth of PCM wrestling.
