Returning their top four scorers from the Class 2A state girls’ golf tournament in 2014, the Pleasantville gals, under the direction of Coach Dan Calhoun, have the bar set high for the spring 2015 season. The Trojans were runners-up in their short stay as a Class 2A school last year, but will be classified and compete in the 1A postseason this year. Pleasantville graduated just one senior, and again will have just one 12th grader on the squad (Alli Friday). Coach Calhoun says in addition to their abilities on the course, they aren’t too shabby off it, too. Pleasantville and PCM will engage in a head-to-head dual meet on April 13 to open up the Trojans’ season.
