Another former Knoxville Track and Field standout is having a great start to his outdoor season. Derek Seddon was named the Field Athlete of the Week by the Midwest Colligate Conference this week for his efforts in helping the William Penn Track and Field Squad over the weekend. Seddon qualified for the N-A-I-A Nationals in the discus with a toss of 158 feet 11 inches at the Grand View Invitational last week. Seddon currently ranked seventh nationally with the discuss.
