The second funnel week has passed in the Iowa Legislature.

District 14 State Senator Amy Sinclair said she was disappointed a bill she was working on with Marion County Attorney Ed Bull regarding trespassing and invasion of privacy didn’t make it through. She says it was believed a compromise bill was going to be accepted by both parties of the House, but it died there instead.
Under the bill, invasion of privacy by trespassing would have been an aggravated misdemeanor offense.
