Experiencing a multitude of seasons, the Pella High girls’ soccer team wound up on top with a late goal against Bondurant-Farrar last night, 1 – 0. The temperature was in the 60s and humid when they left the high school, but by the end of regulation, it was in the 40s with rain and even some snow spitting at times. It did not stop Pella High from dominating the game, getting nearly four-to-one shots on goal as compared to the Blue Jays. Pella’s lone goal came in the 75′ off the foot of Shanae Burch, with the assist going to Katie Canfield. The Lady Dutch are 2 – 0, and they’ll be in the Southeast Polk tournament on Saturday.
