Also spending their time at Thunder Hills Country Club, the Central men’s golf team takes a day one lead into play today after shooting 287 on Sunday in the Duhawk Invite. Adam Squires shot a two-under-par 69 to help the Dutch along in round one. Squires leads the individual standings by one stroke. Round two occurs today, as Central, in addition to winning, will hope to become familiar with the layout of the course, as they’ll be on it for 36 holes during the Iowa Conference tournament later on down the road.
